How does personalisation work?
Choose your product, size and colour, then type the surname (and an optional "Est." year) in the boxes above the Add to cart button. We embroider it exactly as you type it, so please check the spelling carefully.
Can I change the name after ordering?
Email support@thehouseofnames.co.za straight away with your order number. We can usually make changes before embroidery starts, but not once production has begun.
How long does it take?
Every piece is made to order, so please allow a few extra working days for embroidery before we dispatch. Courier delivery time is added after that.
How much is delivery?
We deliver anywhere in South Africa. Standard delivery is R100 (3 to 5 working days) and express is R150 (1 to 2 working days), counted from dispatch. You'll see the cost at checkout before you pay.
How can I pay?
Pay securely through Stitch. The available payment methods are shown at checkout.
Which towel sizes do you have?
Hand towel (50 x 90 cm) R349, bath towel (70 x 140 cm) R529 and bath sheet (100 x 180 cm) R699. The set of 3 (one of each, in a gift box) is R1,519, which saves you R58.
Can I return a personalised item?
Because each item is made with your name, personalised items can't be returned for a change of mind, a wrong size chosen, or a spelling error in the details you supplied. If something arrives damaged, faulty or not as ordered, email us with photos and we'll repair, replace or refund it. See our Returns and Refund Policy.
How do I care for my embroidery?
Wash inside out on a cold or gentle cycle and avoid bleach. Iron on the reverse side, never directly on the embroidery. Each product page has its own care notes.
Do you do team or bulk orders?
Yes. Email support@thehouseofnames.co.za with what you need, how many, and the names, and we'll send you a quote.
